Beating the odds
Hey, this is just a quick question. I am currently interested in going into petroleum engineering (12th grade) and I've been accepted to a couple of places. And I'm alright at math, nothing special, sometimes it takes me awhile to understand and get hang of something, and I'm worried that I wont be able to make in into the field. Every time I talk to someone in the this field they complain about how hard it is, and that I should find something else to do. This really discourages me because the more I research about "my future" the more that I find out that most classes try their best to weed out people from the field and I don't want to be one of those students who don't make it. Please help? haha need your personal opinion

Hi Mia, I think that you should keep trying despite what others say. You must start and try. You should follow your instinct. Then, later, you can catch the decision to continue or not with more knowledge about the field.

    Good luck !!
