Describe what you do in your current work situation?
In the department of embedded systems in our company, we design commercial electronic systems using microcontrollers and single board computers.
Why did you choose engineering?
I like to participate in making the life easier!
Where did you go to school and what degree(s) do you have?
I received my primary and secondary education certificates from Shandi, a city in the north of the country. I got the fourth rank among the Sudanese students in the National Sudanese Certificate.
What do you like best about being an engineer?
Everyday I learn not only a new thing, but also a new method to do things.
What challenges have you met and conquered in your pursuit of an engineering career?
Being a girl! It's somehow hard to enter an enterprise to have an opportunity to prove the competence of women engineers. But when we (the Sudanese women engineers) get it, we work hard to clear the prejudgments over us.
