Is it practical to get an undergrad EE degree and then go into BME?

Hi! I am a high school junior and I am looking into different schools and majors. I am very interested in biomedical engineering but upon further research have found that many schools do not offer BME as a major, or that it is just not practical in some cases. I am also really interested in computers, taking things apart, electrical design, etc. so I was thinking I could go in as an electrical engineering major for undergrad. Is it practical to get an undergrad EE degree and then go into BME? Would this allow me to have a focus in the electrical side of BME?

Thanks!
